2018 Sweet Sixteen (+8) Education Optional Day Three @ The Coeur d'Alene Resort

The 2018 Pacific Northwest PGA Section Sweet Sixteen is coming up fast!  This is a great event with two days filled of great information for you to take back to your clubs and implement.  Mike O’Donnell, Senior Director of Player Development for the PGA of America will leading the two day workshop again this year and is a tremendous resource for all PGA Professionals.  This year we are adding a very special (optional) third day to the event as Coach Judy (Judy Alvarez, PGA) will be leading a day of PGA Hope Instruction Training.  This is going to be a really special event and is a great opportunity for everyone to get their MSR’s before this cycle ends in June.

2019 IEPGA Spring Meeting & Tee Time Draw @ The Coeur d'Alene Resort

The 2019 IEPGA Spring Meeting and Pro-Am Tee Time Draw will be on Sunday February 17th at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Hotel.  The meeting will being promptly at 6:00pm.  After the conclusion of the meeting their will be a 15 minute break and then the Pro-Am tee time draw will begin.  The attire for the meeting is GOLF ATTIRE!   The points list and draw order will be posted shortly on the website and Facebook.  Please let me know if you have any further questions or need any further information.  We look forward to seeing you all there!

World Handicap System Seminar @ Kalispel Golf & Country Club

With the implementation of the World Handicap System on January 1, 2020,
Washington Golf will be offering seminars to our Handicap Chairpersons and PGA
Professionals to learn the new Rules of Handicapping. Each seminar will include
the optional open-book quiz required for certification for your club. PGA
Professionals will also receive MSR credit for attending a seminar.

The tee time draw will be in order based on a combination of participation points and sponsorships. 4 points will be awarded for each Chapter event you participated in during the 2021 season. You must be present at the Spring meeting or appoint a designee (or tee time will be forfeited). Draw order is:

1st = Sponsor PGA Members
2nd = Non-Sponsor PGA Members
3rd = Sponsor Associates
4th = Non-Sponsor Associates
5th = All other Members & Associated who attend the meeting

Join us for our Chapter Fall meeting after the 36-Hole Championship/Pro-Pro Tournament.

  • Location = The Golf Club at Black Rock
  • Dinner at 6pm w/ meeting to follow – open to all IEPGA Professionals and Major Sponsors (Even if you are not playing in tournament)
  • Election year for new Section and Chapter Secretary (Must be a Member and attend meeting to vote)

IEPGA Spring Chapter Meeting @ The Coeur d'Alene Resort

Attend our Chapter Spring meeting to earn 2 PGA PDR’s. We will discuss the 2023 Season and have the annual tee time draw at the end of the meeting. No need to RSVP and we are looking forward to seeing you @ CDA Resort!

The PNWPGA Sweet 16 Education Seminars will be held at CDA Resort as well on 2/20-2/21! If you are looking for a great way to knock out your education PDR’s before the golf season begins, click here for more details and registration!

TEE TIME DRAW INFO:
The tee time draw will be in order based on a combination of 2022 participation points and sponsorships. 4 points will be awarded for each Chapter Pro-Am you participated in (as long as you met the Friday registration deadline). Those who participated in the Les Schwab Pro-Junior received double participation points (8). 4 points will also be awarded for participation in all Chapter Events (except Kalispel Cup which is invite only) and all 5 PNW Section Majors (NW Open, WA Open, Rosauers Open, OR Open, and PPC). You must be present at the Spring meeting to receive your priority time or appoint a designee (or tee time will be forfeited). The tee time draw will be conducted by the Chapter Board in the following order for eligible Professionals.

Priority Tee Time Eligibility:

For any IEPGA Professional to be eligible for a priority tee time, they must be in good standing with the Section and Chapter (based on most recent Section suspension report published 3 weeks prior to tee time draw). For any IEPGA Class A or Lifetime Member to receive priority as a Champion Sponsor, your agreement must be signed, submitted, and paid by the deadlines stated on agreement. Associates are not eligible to sign as a Champion Sponsor.

Draw Order:

Group 1: All eligible “Champion Sponsor” Class A & Lifetime Members. List will be ordered by participation points from previous season.

Group 2: All eligible Class A & Lifetime Members. List will be ordered by participation points from previous season.

Group 3: All eligible Associates. List will be ordered by participation points from previous season.

Group 4: All other times will be assigned to eligible Professionals based on the previous year’s points

****** Pro-Am tee times will be reserved for sponsors and Professional tournament staff.  Major and Title Sponsors receive standing tee times and team entries. If you know any businesses who might be interested in this opportunity, or you are interested in playing with sponsors this year please reach out.
